What’s Included in a Mobile Cocktail Class?

Thinking about a mobile cocktail class for a hen party, a birthday or a work night out? Here’s exactly what’s included, how the two hours run and how to choose your host.

A mobile cocktail class brings the bar to you. Your host arrives with everything, teaches your group to shake, stir and garnish like a pro, and then you drink what you make. There are no taxis, no queues and nobody stuck at the bar ordering a round.

What’s included in a mobile cocktail class

  • Your host. Choose a butler in the buff at no extra cost, or a smartly dressed mixologist.
  • Every ingredient. Spirits, mixers, fruit, garnishes and ice.
  • All the kit. Glassware, shakers, strainers and the rest of the bar equipment.
  • Three or four cocktails each. Chosen by your group before the day.
  • Games between cocktails. A round of Never Have I Ever usually comes out after the first or second drink.
  • Set-up and pack-away. Your host arrives early to set up and takes everything away at the end.

How a mobile cocktail class runs

Your host arrives before your start time to set up the glassware, ingredients and equipment. Once everything is ready, he introduces himself, explains how the class will work and demonstrates the first cocktail. Then it’s your turn.

Over the two hours of a mobile cocktail class, everyone makes three or four cocktails, with a game or two in between. Pay attention to each demonstration, because you’ll be making your own straight after. At the end, your host takes photos of the group, plays a last game if there’s time, then packs everything away so you don’t have to wash a single glass.

Choosing the cocktails for your mobile cocktail class

Pick your favourites from our cocktail menu. The Pornstar Martini and the Espresso Martini are always popular, along with the French Martini, the Mojito and the Cosmopolitan.

Choose together as a group and let us know about a week before the class, so your host brings exactly the right ingredients. If anyone isn’t drinking, ask us about alcohol-free versions.

Which host is right for your mobile cocktail class?

For hen parties and birthdays, a butler in the buff is the most popular choice: he teaches the class, serves the drinks and keeps the party going. For family celebrations, team socials and more formal work events, a smartly dressed mixologist keeps things professional. Both cost the same.

Why groups love a mobile cocktail class

  • Everyone gets involved. Shaking, stirring, muddling and garnishing means nobody sits on the sidelines.
  • It breaks the ice. Perfect when the group is a mix of friends, family and colleagues.
  • It’s personal. Your choice of cocktails, your music and your space.
  • You learn a skill. Everyone goes home knowing how to make their favourite cocktail.
