Bath hen parties usually centre on a townhouse rather than a bar, which is exactly where a butler in the buff earns his money. He works the room, keeps the drinks going and runs the games, so the whole group stays together.
We have covered parties in Georgian townhouses across the city and out towards the Royal Crescent since 2022. Booking a butler in the buff in Bath starts from £170 for two hours.

BOOK a buff butler in BATH from the best IN THE BUSINESS
Butler Direct supplies an experienced, professional and genuinely charming butler in the buff across Bath and Somerset. Bath is the most booked hen destination in the country, and it is a different kind of weekend to most — a Georgian townhouse somewhere off Great Pulteney Street, the spa on the Saturday, afternoon tea, and a group who came here for the setting rather than a nightclub.
Our butlers fit that beautifully. A cocktail masterclass in a townhouse kitchen or a life drawing session in the drawing room suits a Bath weekend far better than being marched around a bar crawl.

Your questions about Bath
How much does it cost to hire a butler in the buff in Bath?
Hiring a butler in the buff starts from £170 for two hours. Cocktail masterclasses start from £25 per person and life drawing classes from £17.50 per person, and we will put a package together if you want more than one.
How far in advance should I book?
Most Bath groups book six to twelve weeks ahead. Saturdays between April and June go first, so if your date is fixed it is worth getting in early. We can often help at shorter notice too, so it is always worth asking.
Which parts of Bath do you cover?
All of it — the city centre, Milsom Street, Widcombe, Bathwick and the Georgian townhouse rentals across the city. Whether you are in an apartment, a hotel suite or a rented house, we come to you.
What does a butler in the buff actually do?
He arrives in collar, cuffs and bow tie, greets your group, serves the drinks, runs the games and keeps the food and the party moving so nobody in the group has to host. You set the tone and he reads the room.
Do you cover the Georgian townhouse rentals in Bath?
Yes, and they suit it perfectly — a butler in a Georgian townhouse is exactly the right setting. He hosts the afternoon before the group heads into town.
Is there a minimum group size?
No. We cover everything from a handful of friends to large hen parties, and Butler Direct has been running since 2022.
We also cover Bristol · North Wales — and the rest of the UK. See every area.
MAKE YOUR BATH HEN WEEKEND UNFORGETTABLE
Welcome to Butler Direct — quality butler in the buff hire in Bath. Whether you’re planning a hen weekend around Thermae Bath Spa, a birthday in a townhouse near the Royal Crescent, a milestone celebration or something else entirely, a butler in the buff from Butler Direct is exactly what you need.
Bath hen parties skew slightly more grown-up than most, and that suits our butlers. They read the room — it’s the thing our reviews mention most often. Guests who were nervous at the start of an afternoon are usually the loudest by the end, and nobody is ever pushed into anything.
Because Bath is the country’s number one hen destination, the good self-catered townhouses go a long way ahead — nine to twelve months for spring and summer Saturdays. Book the house, then confirm your butler in the buff for the same dates straight away.
We pay our butlers some of the best rates in the industry while keeping our prices lower than the competition. A well-paid butler is a happy one, and a happy butler in the buff always puts on the best show, with zero tolerance for anything less than professional behaviour.
