What happens at a life drawing hen party in the Lake District

01

We come to you

To your lodge, cottage, cabin or venue, anywhere in the Lake District and Cumbria.

02

Everything’s included

Paper, drawing boards and pencils for everyone, with no hidden extras.

03

About 90 minutes

Poses run from two-minute sketches to longer drawings, with time to top up the drinks in between.

04

Your model runs it

He sets the poses, keeps things moving and makes sure everyone’s laughing.

No drawing skills needed

Made for beginners

Most groups haven’t picked up a pencil since school, and that’s half the fun. It’s a laugh first and an art class second, so nobody needs to be good at it.

Relaxed and fun

Your model is a pro at putting groups at ease, so even the shy ones end up joining in.

Lake District life drawing FAQs

Who runs the class?

Your life model runs it himself. He brings all the materials, sets the poses and keeps it moving.

Do we need to be able to draw?

Not at all. Most groups haven’t drawn since school, and that’s part of the fun.

Does the model pose nude?

Yes, for at least one pose, as in any traditional life drawing class. The rest is all about having a laugh.

Where can you run it in the Lake District?

Anywhere with chairs and a bit of light: lodges, cottages, cabins and venues across the Lake District and Cumbria.

Can we add a butler in the buff?

Yes. A butler in the buff starts from £170 for two hours, and we’ll price the two together as one package.

Is there a minimum group size?

No. We cover small get-togethers and big hen parties alike.

How far ahead should we book?

Most Lake District groups book six to twelve weeks ahead, and Saturdays from April to June go first. We can often help at shorter notice too.

Planning a hen weekend in the Lakes?

Pair life drawing with a cocktail masterclass or a butler in the buff, and we’ll put a package together.
